When Your Card Is Charged

Payment is authorized when you place your order and captured (charged) once your prescription is verified and your order is ready to ship. If we can't verify your prescription within 14 days, we release the authorization and let you know.

Pricing and Taxes

Every price on the site is in Canadian dollars. Eligible medical devices and supplies may be tax-exempt under applicable Canadian tax regulations. Where applicable, taxes will be calculated at checkout based on the products purchased and your shipping address.

Insurance and Reimbursement

We don't direct-bill insurance providers. All purchases are paid in full at the time of order. We provide a detailed, itemized receipt with each order so you can submit it to your extended health plan, workers' compensation, or veterans' benefits program. Many extended health plans cover part or all of the cost of prescribed oxygen equipment, but coverage varies, so check with your provider before you order.

Provincial Funding Programs

Several provinces run assistive-devices or home oxygen funding programs (Ontario's ADP, Alberta Aids to Daily Living, and others). Eligibility and coverage vary. We recommend contacting your provincial program directly to understand your benefits before purchasing — and we're happy to help you understand what documentation they'll ask for.

Order Cancellations

  • Before prescription verification

    Cancel any time, no charge. Email hello@homeoxygensolutions.ca with your order number.

  • After prescription verification, before shipping

    You can still cancel, but a $25 administrative fee may apply to cover verification costs.

  • After shipping

    Once shipped, an order can't be cancelled. You can refuse delivery (subject to restocking fees outlined in our Returns policy) or follow the standard return process once you receive it.
